What Size Do You Need?

The most common mistake isn't the variety — it's the size. Measure your ceiling height, allow roughly a foot for the stand, and use our free calculator to get an exact recommendation with a straight link to the right size.

Lighting Your Tree

Under-lighting is the second most common mistake. As a rough guide: a 6-7ft tree wants around 400 lights for a properly dressed look; a 10ft tree closer to 700. Our calculator gives you the exact number for your tree, plus how many sets to buy.

A few simple habits make a big difference: keep the base in water and top it up every other day, keep the tree away from radiators and open fires, and give it a fresh cut at the base if it's been more than a few hours since delivery.

Our Story Since 1973

The Nordmann began in 1973, selling real Christmas trees alongside Mr Ferrari's fruit and veg shop in Wimbledon. From our first delivery in 1990 to becoming The Lanesborough's tree supplier in 2000, it's the same thing that's always mattered: a real, freshly cut tree, delivered properly.
